I have a new 2022m40i with IDrive 7. Would like to change my user profile name but can't find a way to accomplish this either on the car or on myBMW app. Don't want to have to create a new user profile and lose all my current individual settings. Looked at a few videos that show selecting option button on console allowing editing of displayed user name but does not work on newest IDrive version.

Any suggestions??

Just had this done!
Call them at 800-831-1117 selected Connected Services option and ask them to change it (you'll need your vin).

Bump. I used to be able to edit the name displayed in the idrive in connected services online to first name last name. Now it is unable to be edited online.
Anyone else experience the same issue?
