BMW X3M LCI rendering

BIMMERPOST
     Featured on BIMMERPOST.com
Here is my X3///M LCI render.

It is based on the latest spy shots of it. As you can see here the side of the car will be the same. But the LCi brings some new headlights, a slightly bigger grille and a new agressive front bumper.

Below is the spy shot my render is based on. So my render goes definitely in the right direction.

Thanks for sharing. I appreciate the time and effort you put into designing this, and always enjoy seeing the talents of Forum members shared here.

Apologies in advance for being so forward to ask of you, but can you take that render and also make one without the roof rails, without the pano roof (just a plain roof), and with paint-matched roof trim (like in my 'Roof Rail Deletion thread' https://x3.xbimmers.com/forums/showt...hp?t=1784073)? Hoping BMW is going to finally allow us in the States to option without the rails this time around, and to have painted roof trim instead of the utilitarian dark grey plastic like it defaults to now.

It looks too Lexus like IMO and the front doesn't match the rest of the car.....similar to the G80/82.

The 2020 model keeps looking better and better. I thought about getting the lci if it has some of the rumored updates like remote start. But this front end would be a hard pass for me.

Overall, I like it. I think this is a better evolution of the BMW M design language than what they did with the M3/M4.

Nope

Took the iX3 and morphed it

Not enough cooling in the front bumper to be the X3M ‼️

Nice render, but I still think the 2020 design is a lot better. Perhaps will have to see it in person. 2020 is a lot less busy and more open simple design.

p.s. took the liberty to use your render in this post.

Looks nice, actually does go a long way in making it look fresh

The X cars have always had this face I can’t unsee, if you think of the grills as eyes and lower bumper as a mouth. This one looks like it has its arms up and screaming lol

Hmmm. Not sure about the triangle vent things. Maybe it will look better in person like the G8x but it seems a little busy with all the different angles going on below the grille. Also I kind of thing the divided grilles look better here than the unibrow grille. I'm actually more interested in the new wheels. The ones on the test mules looked similar to the G8x wheels and IMO they look much better than the current wheels.

The LCI rendering looks great.

Haters always hating on newer designs of the cars they own. By their feedback, manufacturers should not improve upon design & features to increase & maintain marketability.

A recent, excellent example is the G30 & F90 LCI.

It's a render

It's not the actual LCI

I love the F90 LCI. However, it took me a little bit to adjust to G80 M3 until I saw it in person coming out of F80 M3. Perhaps the same will be with X3M.

Love the headlights and grill. I can confidently say I do not like the bumper, but I'll still be buying one once my 2020 lease is up lol
