January 26th I put on a new set of 21" PS4S (not the SUV or All Season, but their regular star-rated for the X3MC), and they have a tread depth of 9/32" (7.14mm) on the tirerack.com site. I've put on 1,800 miles of spirited ( ) driving and mine are at roughly 8/32" (6.35mm) now.

FYI, you don't want to run the suv model on our cars. You want the star rated model.

I understand the star model was designed specifically for the X3M, but what is wrong with running the SUV model? The S model doesn't even appear to be offered in the 20" wheel sizes for my X3M.

4s has a treadware of 300, suv version is only 220 which is horrible. That's actually worse than the conti 6 which gets like 6k miles on them... Also, the suv version is a total of 12lbs heavier, which is really like 50lbs when you figure it's rotating.

All good points, but basically moot to me as it appears the S model is not offered in the non-comp 20" size.
