M Sport Seats Illuminating full time
Just picked up 2021 X3MC today, The illuminating seat logos are cool (at least my thought on the first day lol). Anyone figured out a way to have them illuminate whenever the headlights are on?
I was thinking maybe there is a way to program or if anyone had run a jumper wire to the headlights or something else! |

Congrats on the new beast!
I have never thought about something like this but it would be awesome. Never heard of anyone doing this back when i had my f82 either. Would be cool if someone found a way to do it. |

Although what would be the point since you'd be sitting in the seat and blocking the lit M logo

I can see why some would want this. Maybe in a car show to have it permanently lit. Or when you don't have a passenger and still want others to know you drive a M car haha. I assume this is a easy mod if someone really wanted to do it. Either through coding or hardwired via a switch.

I appreciate the feedback. I typically don't have passengers and thought it would compliment the other interior lighting (doors, footwell, etc.) and to be able to dim it as well would be nice. I'll investigate further in the upcoming weeks and share if I uncover anything.

i think the seat lights are on the same lighting circuit as the door handle lights so they cant be coded in, i wanted to do the same thing but my coding friend told me its not possible simply by coding.
there are probably other ways but too risky.
