Wireless Signal Booster

Question : has anybody have any difficulties activating their Signal Booster using Verizon as the carrier in their 2020 X3. I have supplied all the information that BMW gave me for my vehicle and now their asking for the MAC ID for the unit in the vehicle. BMW customer service was no help. If you had success please share.

I'd think it would be preferable to attach a high gain omni antenna to the in-car hotspot, if possible, rather than install a repeater/booster.

I just did this with Verizon a few days ago. There is a panel on the left side of the trunk area where the first aid kit would be if so equipped. Just grab the panel and pull...it comes out pretty easy. The LTE compensator/signal booster is in there. I just stuck my phone in there and took a picture of the label. All the needed numbers are on the label. My signal booster was made in Portugal...that is the right module.

Worked with Verizon first time.

I am a champion of lost causes... T-Mobile customer for 22 years.

At one time I worked for one of the predecessor companies and had an employee discount for many years after I changed careers.

I just like the people.
