As power hungry as I am, I'd say it all depends on the asphalt in your area and your familiarity with M cars. Used to an M3 or M2? Go for the power! Never driven an M car before and have shite asphalt in your area? Go for the MSS Urbans.... Both are worthwhile upgrades. My humble two cents.....

I'd love to take your thoughts because I'm in the fence between H&R and MSS lowered springs. I'm having STG2 OG M2 and love to have more power on my X3MC. However, I feel the ride is a bit harsh when I have 6 months old boy in the car. I know I can wait BM3 a bit more but definitely want to get the car lowered. I'm in Chicago and the road is quite bad. BTW, I don't want to have too soft ride though. What's your thoughts on MSS experience?

Hey man, I also have a 6 months old boy in my car! Definitely go for the MSS springs. Ride comfort will definitely improve.

Thank you Alex. I have seen some great mods on your car. Awesome! Interesting your boy is around 6 months old. Stay safe man!

I have an 18 month old myself despite being a geezer.... If you're at all concerned about ride quality, prioritize the MSS springs... The stock F97 comp is no slouch by any means, and the BM3 upgrade down the road is easy peasy.......
