Love it. Can't wait to test drive!

But weight of 4620 lbs? That would be like a 300 lb weight gain over X3 M40i.
Am I seeing that right?

Great news is that this is the 1st time that BMW M has offered the base M and competition model when launched, looks encouraging for the M8 comp latter this year and G80 comp when released.

Starts at $70k but it includes a lot of features. I think that bodes well for M3 staying around this range and probably topping out 75-80k for non competition?

Source: https://www.autoblog.com/2019/02/12/...#slide-7519904

It's still more than I can spend, but for those in the market, it's not all doom and gloom imo.

Compared to the $56k 330i they're arguing over on the G20 forum...

I don't need or really want an SUV, but if I had to get one, the X3M would be it, very impressive. Can't wait to hear and see more about the S58 engine.

The sad thing is it shows the redline is lower than S55. That sucks

Finally

This thing took a while to come out lol. I like everything but iffy on the lower front. Maybe in person. The X4M has some carbon bits installed. If the comp pack comes with "comp seats" then what does the normal one look like?

Really though I wonder how much different it'll be compared to the M40i besides HP. There's already kits that can get much more power out the B58. Expecting M tax to be 20K more.

Regular "Sport Seats" vs "M Sport Seats" for anyone wondering

Definitely worth the extra $$$ to get the M seats.

Was thinking the same thing. What's up with the black bar on most new bmws on the lower front bumper. Trend started with G01 BMW. Then I'm seeing it with the m sport G05 x5. Looks a bit weird, like they are exposing the impact bar.
