Saw a new X4 30d in the local dealership the other day, salesman was like this is just released what you think?

I said the interior is stunning, but that exterior is absolutely vulgar!! Give me the X3M any day of the week.
I am slightly disappointed they didn’t add fender flare trims, it’s such a small part it could have very easily been done and allowed much wider wheels.

Disappointed in the fenders and stance and overall lack of aggressiveness. Hope the X3M has the fender flares but I'm not holding out any hope for it after not seeing it on any test mules so far and now this.

I don't want to kill your dreams but i don't think it is the X3M, as I m the one who posted thoses pics on another forum. The South-American journalist who took the pic, mentionned only the X4M during his guided tour in BMW Plant. So if there was any X3M next to it, he would have mentionned it in the article he published on the web.

As popular memepage goes, I rate this 2 stars for being a BMW and probably driving well, but 3 stars are deducted for looking like an ugly version of a mercedes on skinny wheels, costing way too much, and being everything wrong with niche product theme thats going on in cars these days.

Hi Col, loved the skittles family shoot you did a while ago. Without an M here currently

Re the pics:

The 'base' M Sports have that double bubble top spoiler so maybe not a sign.

Agree with general comments this is a bit underwhelming, I think the Rectangualr zorst on the M40i and M40d look a little better. Still we're not seeing the full picture here, lets give it a chance.

It looks to be an M, it has the 4 outlet exhaust pipes, M mirrors, typical M vent on the fender. Never seen a 4 outlet exhaust on a M sport.

while I am not super impressed by the X4M, the X4 still looks better than the GLC Coupe, and remember MB copied BMW with the whole SUV Coupe thing, in pictures and even more so in person the MB Coupe looks like a bubble, the X4 looks better (still not as good as I hoped though). Macan and Stelvio probably look the best for the small trunk mid size SUVs (they really compete against X4, not X3 if you look at cargo volume).

never thought there would be so many high powered mid size SUV options.
