Picked up a black sapphire & fiona red x3m40i

Hello people! I'm Manu from Quebec! I ordered my x3 back in December and just got it in March! I wanted to make a introductory post but never had the chance to get nice pictures. Finally the sun has come out and I washed my car and took some picture I'd like to share.
Coming from a 135i stage 2+, I find the X3 is a lot more practical and better in snow. There's nothing I miss about the 135i except for the dual clutch gearbox (shifts a little more aggressive than the 8zf) and the lightness of the car (after 60mph the X3 feels sluggish).
What I love about the X3: interior and exterior finish quality, adaptive suspension, the fact it doesn't drink too much gas for a performance suv and the spacious back seat! Almost forgot, I really but really love the launch control!
My x3 is still stock, just did the exhaust flap mod and tinted the windows. I'm going to go jb4 this week and maybe get stickier tire MSS or Pirellis.
I've raced against a corvette, mustang got, M240i xdrive stage 1, Audi S4 stage 1 and many other interning cars and off the line, the X3 is faster than all of them on the 1/8 mile! My best time was 8.1. Also I found t strange but the 0-100kmh only took 4.3 seconds compared to the advertised 4.8.
Finally here are the pictures! I took all the options available except the tow hook.

Very nice ride! That’s the first time I’ve seen the red starter button. Is it an option or a CA only thing?

Also noticed the M performance badge under the AC dials as well. As far as I know, the states doesn’t have these details.

Haha no these are some options I put! I added the mperformance sticker because I already scratched the black trim there because I often put my keys there... it's more a protection than aesthetics!

I would have given my left one to be able to get Fiona Red in the United States.

I find it strange we get options not available in the US, same thing with my M235i and the split folding seats in the back. It's the opposite of 25 years ago when things were available stateside that we couldn't get up here.

Is the red starter a part you can order?

What is the black circle that is under what looks like a USB? Was the red start button a CA option too!?

Red start button was on ali express! It's for the 5 series g30 but it fits the g01 x3!
Just did jb4 also, using map 3 but the car feel definitely faster but it's jerking a lot. Like maybe the tranny is not keeping up or maybe big turbo lag?

I would only run Map 1, or MAYBE Map 2, unless you have some bolt ons (downpipe and/or charge pipes) I wouldn't run Map 3.

Map 3 is a very aggressive map for an otherwise stock car, that is likely why you're experiencing some jerkiness.

What fuel are you running? If running 93+ octane and some bolt on's, you can maybe run Map 5 but i'm not sure if Map 5 is auto-tuning on the B58 as it is on the N55. Again, I wouldn't run anything other than Map 1 or 2 though...

I'm placing an order for an Alpine White on Fiona Red. Curious as to how you finding the red? Is it too bright? How is the contrast with the black? What packages do you have on it?
