Alpina brings to Geneva its newest 3.0L straight-six Quad-Turbo powered XD3 and XD4 SAV. The engine delivers 285 kW (388 hp) from 4000 to 5000 rpm and delivers a maximum torque of 770 Nm, good for accelerating from 0-100 kmh in 4.6 seconds.

Torque number is incredible, but I still think the X4 M40i would be a better proposition

I wish these were available here in the US. I would have a tough choice choosing between the two. It would either have to be practicality (XD3) or style (XD4). Love the color combinations they are being shown in. Nothing like Alpina Blue

I actually feel like the xd4 is a better upgrade from the x4 than the xd3 is from the x3....idk.

that XD3 is awesome. I hope that one of the diesel models of the X3 makes it to the US.

Very nice, except for the wheels, I never liked their design and it seems that all Alpina have the same wheel design

Shame the UK are not going to get a full blown Aplina XD3 only a poverty spec engine as the steering gets in the way apparently.

Why is it that these are alpina models yet the 0-60 times are the same as a standard ???

That's a waste of my money lol. I'd need to see 4.4 secs and under to even consider.

Sure the x4 m is going to be 4.0 to 4.3 tops 0-60
