Just pulled the trigger 2017 Carbon Black Msport
Hi guys,
Just wanted to share my story: I'm coming out of a 2013 Msport X3 35i, Black Sapphire and heading into: 2017 X3 Msport 28i with: Carbon black, Oyster interior, Premium Enhanced, Drive assistance Plus. I'm considering blacking out the MSport rims, black x3 badge, removing the xDrive decals on these side... but all of that i'll decide when I see her! Not sure i'll notice the drop down from the 35 to the 28, I'm not a hardcore speed/power guy. I'm pumped for heads up, connected and driver assistance all things I don't have. I have 3 kids (all still in car seats) and while this isn't our primary "family" vehicle i will report back if the 3 across car seats work in the 2017 like the kind of do in my 2013. I know the new 2018 will be out in about 14 months, but I had to do my breaks and get new tires and well heck 14 months is too long to wait! I'll send picks of her when she arrives! I'm only with this girl for 3 years so I'll roll into the new re-design when they have worked out all the kinks |

Why the downgrade from the amazing N55 in the X3 35i ?

When I moved out of my 3 series a few years back I took a bad deal (rookie mistake) I had a lot of negative equity, so I decided to just bit the bullet and get out now as i was never going to catch up. The downgrade while i'm sure noticeable doesn't sting AS much in the wallet...

If you are not sure that the three seats will fit, take them to the dealer, with or without children, and install them in an X3. Otherwise, you risk having spent big bucks for a vehicle that you can't haul your kids around in.
Years ago, I drove around with three car seats in a 1970 VW Beetle, one in the front, all facing forward. Those were the days! Now, if only those kids would get around to reproducing . . . |

Yes, they would take our kids away today if we tried that! The 3 seats fit fine in my current x3 so I can't imagine there will be a problem. We just bought new DIono Radian's they are the slimmest on the market here in Canada... that helps! |
