225/40/18 Front and 235/40/18 Rear?

Hey guys any issues and concern regarding this tire set up?
Rears will be slightly wider and taller, so a little bit staggered.
Any DTC/DSC or ABS concern?

Comments and or suggestions would be helpful. Thanks.

335i or XI?

225/40r18 and 255/35r18 are stock on my 2010 xi, they have the same outside diameter so no abs/transfer case issues.

I run those sizes on an e82, if I had an 8" front wheel I would go with 235 and 245. The tire size choice has a lot to do with your wheel specs. Are you running stockers? If so is it sport pack?

Why such skinny tires? Hopefully for snow tires only otherwise get some meat under there.

Stock only. I want to make my rears a little bit thicker. Im not sure for ABS and traction control issues.

You mean it will be better if 235 all around?

I was asking because sport and non-sport have different wheel specs. I can't give advice on tire size if I don't know what the width of the wheel is.

If doing a square setup then 245 all around. Otherwise 245 front, 275 to 295 rear

Stock is 225/45/17 but I have 225/40/18 square right now. Im due on replacing the rears. And im planning to go 235 on rears only while maintaining the 225 fronts.

You will be fine as long as your wheel is at least 8" wide.
