I'm just curious how it differs from magazine
tests in the real world? Please tell me you get at least under 7 with steptronic in a 330i? I remember the last 330i, all magazine tests had about 6.7-6.9. I could never break 7 no matter how hard i tried. |

I was going to use it to time myself around the Nürburgring, but unfortunately because of snow I never go the chance.

No. But the latest issue of Motor Trend clocked a 330i manual at 5.8 sec.

or you could have someone hold a little minidv camera to record it so it can be replayed over again and do a few time trials - provided it is all carried out in as save environment as possible.
there are a few on the video threads by the way. might be worth checking out.

You're not going to get very accurate readings timing yourself through iDrive. You'll probably add at least 0.5 seconds (probably more) in the delay in your reaction times.

It lags and your reaction will kill anything to make it worthwhile
