Bye Bye... X3 3.0 MSport
So the X3 left the building on monday as I picked up her replacement.
I had almost exactly 3 years motoring with it, and for a sensible vehicle it provided first class service (shame I can't say the same about a certain dealership). Anyone thinking about getting an X3, but not convinced, then I can 100% recommend its a good choice. The 3.0D engine and 8 speed auto box was sublime providing an excellence balance of sensible motoring and fun power, especially when married up with the variable suspension. I've replaced it with the car below.. and weirdly, its a better ride, but i guess thats for the market it caters for.. but there is no way i could move house with the replacement, which I did for 2 other people in the X3 without problem. It also could go places that the new machine will never dare venture. I'll still be around on the other forums, and may chip in from time to time.. but i want to say a huge thank you to everyone on here who has contributed to what was a perfect decision, without it my questions wouldn't have been answered. |

Congrats on the new car - it is a beautiful looking beast! If I had the money, that would be my choice as long as I could afford to keep the X3 for icy conditions.
