FYI, I just shipped 4 tires 275/45/20s, 35lbs each) from NJ to CA via FedEx Ground Economy (which uses the USPS for the actual residential delivery) for about $180 total ($45 per tire) including $250 of insurance per tire through goshippo.com. FedEx Ground Economy is an option if you use a shipping service like goshippo.com but not through the regular FedEx site.

Otherwise it is like $130 per tire to ship across the country via regular FedEx Ground, UPS Ground or USPS, which is ridiculous.

Hope this helps some of you.

YES, I think we can definitely do this... now that we recently found out we use goshippo.com to get these over to you at a decent price. Simply let me know what your ZIP CODE is & I think we can quickly work out a decent deal.

Once I hear back from you I can see if the other seller / original poster still has his one rear tire. Because I know that I still have mine available for sale.

I just noticed something fellas. The original poster & me both are selling 21" 295/35 PS4S tires. But his are the Start * spec & mine are the M01 spec.

So... we'll have to figure out who still wants these. Maybe one of you guys needs one of the rears & another guy will take the other rear.

They got for $456 new at the tire rack. I think $275 + shipping sounds fair. But this is only if we can get the shipping cost down to a reasonable rate.

I've listed all the potential buyers in the order they inquired about these. I'm pretty confident we can make things happen & do business together soon!

This is the 1 rear tire I'm selling with only 700 miles on it. That's as close to a new $450+ tire you're ever going to get.

Start * is BMW spec and M01 is mercedes spec. Start * is better than the "normal" ps4s for BMW, and m01 is better than the "normal" ps4s from mercedes. Based on what I researched anyways

Ok, so they can't be used together I assume, being different specs.

I don't want to give you wrong information, but the tread pattern looks slightly different. So I'd assume probably not, unless you put m01s in front and star in the rears - but that could potentially throw off your alignment

Do you know what the factory PS4s are? Or how to tell which is which.

Influence I'm still trying to figure GoShippo.com out & it hasn't been as user friendly as I had hoped for. And advice or way I could chat with you for a moment next week... ?

I won’t be around much for the next few weeks but a couple of points. First, don’t link any of your personal UPS/FedEx accounts to your Shippo profile. Odds are, they get worse rates than the Shippo accounts that get used by default. Also, when I was last shipping those tires, I found that the moment I went over 45 pounds per package, the FedEx Economy Ground option disappeared even though per FedEx, economy ground is good for up to 70 pounds per package. My two rear tires were 46 pounds each, so I just said they were 45. You could also try calling your local FedEx location (or other FedEx shipping station) and see if they offer economy ground service. It might be easier.

Shippo is really designed for businesses so it is not the easiest to set up for personal shipping. I set it up years ago so I can’t even remember all the steps that were required.

Thank you dude. I've had a Fed-Ex account for about 15 years. So I'll see if they can offer me an economy ground service since I'm there sometimes twice a week. These rears only weight 32 lbs each, so we'll see what happens. I appreciate you time & advice here.

GoShippo looks really cool. I'm trying to pretend I have a legitimate business so I can use their better rates. But they may have changed the platform or algorithm since you last singed up. Only time will tell. I only have limited amounts of patience though for selling used parts. LOL

I wish it were that easy man. If so, you & I would've sold these by now. Tomorrow I'm talking with a GoShippo rep to see what they can do in terms of getting the shipping cost to a reasonable amount. Don't give up yet.
