Can anybody give me some guidance.

I’ve noticed this ‘flap’ hanging off my bumper. I can’t think of what it’s for?? Apart from BMW RIS service, I don’t know how else it can break. It looks like somebody has forcefully broke it. I’ve also had the car washed which I highly doubt a pressure washer would break it.

I can push it on so it doesn’t look bad, but it falls off again since the clips are broken.

Can this be something BMW would remove to carry out a service?

Tow hook cover, they break. Might just need to replace it.

It's just the cover for the tow hook. It falls off often for some people. If its broken, bring it up to your dealer and they should replace it.

I think mine popped off from a rock hitting it at some point. Pretty flimsy I just popped it back on and it's been ok since.

The tabs are garbage. Good luck getting it to click back in and stay put.

Pretty poor from BMW, build quality on it is very flimsy. I can’t think how a rock could hit it, as there’s no other damage.

I’m due to take the car to the dealers on Monday to repair an interior trim that’s been poor from day one. Hopefully they can get it sorted soon as I’ve had to wait 6 weeks for this interior trim.

Picked up my new 2020 x3m this past weekend and already had to go to the dealer for them to replace it. Any luck just using betalink or some other adhesive?

Me too. Ours disappeared Saturday at 2700 miles. Just gone after a 100 mile drive on the interstate.
