Very nice! A blaze of questions...

How was the fitment of the DP?
Notice a big difference in exhaust sound?
Did the “butt dyno” feel a difference?
Was this on 93?

Couple questions myself:

- Did you take any logs of the runs?
- I noticed they stopped at 6,300rpm, generally B58's have shown to pull all the way to 7k?
- Pretty good AWD number especially on a Mustang. The top end dips some, did they do multiple runs or allow it to adapt some?
- Hows the tone with the DP compared to stock?
- Overall, how's it feel compared to stock?

I bet it's a beast with 430awtq!

I have answers!

1) The DP is a bit "off" where it fits into the mid-pipe. I may have a tiny leak at the bottom split because of the lack of flex. I've got to get a second opinion, and a carbon monoxide detector!

2) The sound is absolutely angry! It's bad to the bone.

3) The butt dyno is much noticeable. The turbo spools up probably .75 to 1 seconds faster than before. If you're on Stage 2, get a DP. It will change your world.

4) 93 only

Sure!

1) I have 3 csv logs of the runs.
2) It wasn't pulling any more WHP after 6300 so they stopped.
3) Yes, they did 3 pulls, 1 in 5th, and 2 in 4th. Had to cool off a bit in between them.
4) The tone is deep and baritone. It sounds like a venomous animal.
5) It's been raining all day here so I haven't really had a chance to let it sing.

I'm liking what I hear! Would love to hear more on the exhaust once you aren't getting poured on.

You got it.

Do you not have a DP? I can't recall.

Can you post the logs and what software did you use to log? Let us know how the DP fitment goes, interested to hear the fix.

THANK YOU!!!!

For sharing. I am sorry for the terrible questions. Speaking of the DP. Did the shop mention anything else? Would you do it again? Did you go with the bungs? Was it all bolt in or did you have to cut the old one off?

Love the graph, looks fun.

It's bolt-on. No cutting required.

1 clamp and bolt on the turbo, 2 bolts bracing it to the side of the engine, and 1 clamp and bolt on the midpipe.

The issue I'm having is that there's just not enough flex in the DP mesh, so the midpipe isn't 100% lined up on the DP for the clamp to seal it correctly.

It's so small of a pinhole, but I'm still concerned about it. I'm going to get a carbon monoxide tester to make sure it's safe. Will also take it to a different shop to see if there anything else that can be done to seal it.

No extra bungs needed.

I'm not sure what logging program they used. I know it was Windows OS? When you say "post the logs", are you referring to the CSV files?

What was the cost of installation of the down pipe? Did they say anything about it being a tough job due to space constraints, unrelated to the down pipes shape/flexibility itself?

I paid $130, but it's not correctly fitted. Some tiny adjustments still need to be made.

There isn't a known fitment issue. I am speaking with ER about it.

Wait to go man! That's awesome.

I've got an upgrade plan for the end of my warranty. A lot will change with coding, JB4 and flash tunes in a couple years...so thanks for being the guinea pig

Nice, but I'm sure a DP paired with my muffler delete will make this thing sound absolutely ridiculous. Thankfully I don't have neighbors to deal with
Might be a bit much for DD but I'm 23 and still like loud and obnoxious cars so there's a 5050 chance lol

I saw this the other week and it's made me want a DP ever since.

We still need that sound clip!

Reluctantly I say you're welcome. I guess if all else fails, rebuild the motor and put on a bigger turbo!

It's still raining… Gosh I can't believe how much rain we've gotten.

I'll get on that soon as I can for sure. I got a tripod for my iPhone, so I can make something happen soon enough.
