New to me X3 with Dash Warning Lights
We just purchased a well maintained 2009 E83 with 195k miles. So far the only issues are the dash warning lights: Brake (amber), 4x4 (amber), Airbag (red) and lights (amber).
The lights warning was shop diagnosed as a faulty LCM. The right side halo does not work (the ground is good, but no power to the bulb per the shop notes). All other lights work. The following error codes come up: - VTG Transfer, 55C4, no message from DTC - ABS/ASC/DSC, 6E3D, SAS Interval - Instrument Cluster, BE DataÂ…, 2B020220 - SES Language Input, 34020179 - SRS Air Bag, AI No message from DSC Control Unit or message incorrect All fuses were checked and good. The Transfer Case Actuator is not making any noise; there is no indication (either driving or records) that it is bad or was replaced or repaired The SAS was checked when the power steering rack was replaced about two years ago. Any advice or recommendations are appreciated. TIA, Ken |
