Doors sound deadening

Anyone done some soundproofing on doors ? I’m a bit annoyed by noise of closing doors. Instead of nice, silky noise it sounds like a van back door…

Close them very gently and the bothersome closing sound from the aluminum skinned door will be a distant memory.

I’ve done this to my other car, a Honda S2000. It gave it a nice solid closing sound, much improved from the tinny sound of it originally. I don’t really see a need for it on the G01.

The G01 front doors are made of Aluminium rather than steel, so sound a bit different.

I don't have any issues with the front door "thunk". Is it the "thunk" of rattles etc you don't like ?

I guess you could put some DynaMat inside the door. But I think BMW didn't do this to increase efficiency or reduce complexity
