Thanks. Probably from larsmin , the guy with the craziest mod ideas.
I did it a few weeks ago. Needed to disassemble the entire headliner. That was most difficult one. Other than that, it was pretty straightforward, easy.

I do not want to ruin AlexFL's build with my pics
I will post pics on what did you do ... thread.

I finally decided to leave the roof rails - they look good with the rear wing. If I remove the roof rails, the rear wing will look a bit weird because it sits slightly above the roof line.

Notice you don't have a sunroof. Was that on purpose? Do you miss it?

The reason I ask is mine didn't come with it (M Drivers Pack) and I sort of sore about it because I signed before realizing that some of the Comps don't have them. Gives me some confidence seeing yours without it

Hi and congrats to your new X3MC. The sunroof delete is actually a performance option because it saves a ton of weight and lowers the center of gravity. I decided to skip the sunroof option on purpose.

That makes me feel better. I'm pretty bummed that I purchased before I checked that feature. Just cause I like the natural light.

After seeing your build and hearing the performance positives I feel a little better about it.

Definitely using your build as a guide. Car looks like sex.

How did you get the flat bottom AT steering wheel? Can't find that one anywhere?

In your mod list you have "smoke painted" heads, rears, and brake lights. Can you give me more details on how you did this? Your build is killer. I am chasing your theme but in gloss black.

Thanks you! Here some pics of my car before the Xpel Stealth. The shop removed the lights, opened them up, and painted the housings. Front lights are just one layer of paint.

AlexFl, I always admire every detail that you put your thoughts in.
Love you build.
I wish you keep the car for a long time, so we can enjoy new photos even through these screens.

AlexFL How was the Fuel-It e85 sensor install? Any recommendations to not get fuel spewed in my face when unhooking the lines? Previously I unplugged the LPFP fuse and tried to start the car to lower the pressure on my old car. (I haven't bought it yet, but wanted to see if you found it helpful vs only logging and reviewing.)

The shop did the installation, so I can’t really tell how difficult it was. Extremely happy with the Fuel-it sensor. I stopped manually checking the ethanol content at the e85 pumps. Simply calculate the required mixture with the Fuel-it app and then check the % of the final mixture with the fuel-it sensor.

AlexFL 2 Qs:

- how do you like the MSS setup compared to the original ride quality? I am out in NYC and the original one was a little rough for a daily, but not terrible.

- Where'd you get your brembo breaks from?

Answered on Page 5 ...is there a significance over OEM for actual everyday use or is it mostly looks(and the added function is a plus)?-

- MSS is very nice. The Comfort setting is a bit too soft, I find, but the Sport setting is perfect!

- Brembo is for looks but they also work amazingly well. The linearity of deceleration is stunning. Also really useful for the launch control initiation on a tuned car.

I have noticed that it is difficult to come to a smooth stop at the light in this vehicle. There's a part of me that kinda likes it, though. I'm convinced it's visibly noticeable to other drivers giving them the impression that I'm challenging them as we pull up to the stoplight. Sometimes I'm not feeling frisky, and folks still want to run on the green as if they feel provoked. At that point, I give them what they're asking for, but the results are not what they expected. Live and learn.
