U older or younger than the average new owner?

I am always thinking I am much older then everyone else here - especially in the "coding" arena, but I am actually a couple years younger than the median age (56) new BMW owner.......

My wife and i like nice things. she has a 2018 Ford Explorer Sport and I am picking up my 2019 X3 M40i after 3 months of driving a regular X3 30i and man i can't wait to tear up these country roads in Germany. I am 31 and my wife is 32 years old. Looked at the M340i also but with two kids, the X3 M40i won out. once back in the states i want to get the wife in a m3 or m4 in the states when the kids grow up some.

actually, 56 is the MEDIAN age (not average)…. that means half the owners are younger and half are older.

You have to remember that the people that are active online skew younger, plus enthusiasts are more likely to be online than the standard distribution of the population total.

As i was thinking as well and thus always thinking at 54 I was on the older side of participants on the forum, but maybe not??

The median age may be 56, but almost 60% of BMW buyers are 55 or older. I'm slightly older than the median, but I did by my first one 35 years ago. 😄
