That looks really nice from the side and rear-quarter, I might have mistaken it for a new Mercedes design. Not crazy about the front at all, the grille and the headlights ruin it for me.

On second look (and some higher quality photos) it appears to have a regular slatted grill, however that being said, the X4 LCI was spied with the diamond pattern grill, so its likely to make an appearance on both M-Performance 40i trims of the X3 and X4 LCI.

The salesguy in my local Dealership in Munich, just on Saturday, following a visit I made to check the X4, confirmed to me that we should expect the LCI X3/X4 any day soon within this week.

He also confirmed that apart from the Laser headlights, which will be available as an extra feature, a couple of extra colours are coming, including the green colour viewed in the leaked photo from the Spanish website.

Apparently, I couldn't "get him" showing me any photos or further information apart from the delivery dates starting from September-October.

It makes sense to me that BMW might pivot to adding new colors for the LCI instead of significant changes given the serious parts shortage. From what I've read the expectation is that this will go on for another few years.

It will be interesting to see if they really do add the laser lights as an option for the LCI given the current chip shortage. They are already having to reduce what models can get optioned with it across other lines given the supply constraints.

Well they need to boost the initial sale of the updated model. I would be surprised if BMW keeps all the same as now, and launch the LCI with just uodated cosmetics and lack of technology
