From what I've read a lot of those kits flip flop the acc/always on wires, you should have power even when the car turns off, thats super weird. Try reversing them? If you are using USB or 12V socket, your car is haunted.

I did not test to see if the switched fuse location in the rear fuse block are temporarily disabled when one starts the car (e.g., start/stop feature), but have read where this can be a potential problem with dashcams, radar detectors, etc. I do wonder if anyone has found a way to hardwire into the one of the front fuse blocks to a switched fuse rather than to always hot fuse location? I've got a 2 channel BlackVue DR900X, hardwired to a 12600mAh BlackVue battery set-up (B-124x + B-124e), and the battery is hardwired to the trunk battery with a relay. Only took a few hours to install
