Driver door hard to shut?

Anyone notice that the driver's door takes a bit more force than the other 3 doors to shut all the way? I constantly feel like I have to slam the thing shut to get it close all the way.

A family member who also owns a new X3 has the exact same issue which made me think it is a pervasive problem not limited to just me.

Just wondering if others noticed this ... I had the dealer look into it when I had it in for other unrelated items and they stated that it was performing within normal parameters.

No but I seem to get this randomly with one of the back passenger doors. You close it fairly firmly and then it's not closed properly. I thought it was a seal problem but it isn't bad enough (yet) for me to take it to the dealer and get them to look at it

Yeah, I had this problem too. Either I've gotten used to it, or it's gone away. I think it has to do with the seals.

I noticed the same thing the first week (driver door) and it has gone away. I wonder if it is designed for a future soft close option.

I have also noticed this, however given that I use the drivers door mst of the time not sure it's the same on other doors. Does seem that every now and than I need to slam the door harder than I think is needed.

ok, so it isn't just me which makes me feel a bit better. Not a major issue but kind of annoying.
