That shit ugly cuz. Not sure what Markus & Co. are smoking but wow. The lines aren't fluid. The intakes seem oddly placed. Just no. Do not pass GO. Do not collect $200. Go straight back to the drawing board.

I like the front end, more sharper than current design, perhaps just compare to non Msport model. But that rear design can be improved, those fake vents on both sides are extra, looks like BMW started favor this kind of design, I think current X3M is cool enough.

IMHO this is one of the worst LCI from BMW.

Same here. I'm glad I didn't wait & ordered a 2021 X3 M instead. FOMO has been fully cured indeed.

Looks fine... which is exactly where it needs to be, rattle no cages, stand out just enough, and will continue as bmws best selling vehicle in the US

X3m should add just enough flavor for those interested in more spice

That was some unfortunate misunderstanding I think - it took me a while to realize he took your "first post?" line as something of an accusation that this was the first time he posted on this forum...

To be more constructive, I guess that confirms that the iX3 will get an M-Sport trim for LCI.

I am not sure, there is something that's off and that wow factor is missing these days with the new BMWs (visually speaking)

Kinda same feeling here. My first reaction wasn't 'omg it's horrendous', but it also wasn't 'oh wow I love it' either. Very much a 'unsure' mood right now here.

It would be enough to have the current taillights smoked. The shape somewhat reminds me of a Jeep Renegade (or Dacia Duster for less fortunate). Like the front lights on the new 3er reminds me of a Peugeot (previous generation). I thought BMW was the one, from who others are stealing the design - looks like not anymore.

As for the front - too much shapes and angles. I guess, like already said - Asian (Chinese) market influence. That is a huge market, so no wonder they are trying hard to get better sales there. Weird shapes for EU/US but quite normal for Asians. Don't get me wrong - I've got nothing against them. We just like different shapes

Need to see other versions, maybe the xLine/Luxury (if it still exists) and SE will be different - aka better.

BTW - anyone noticed the panoramic roof being smaller?

Not impressed, and if the tech is not going to be updated, I'm not worried about the residual value of current model.

In white, it still reminds me of the drone from Oblivion.

I'm wondering this, too! I think they'd look great on my Sophisto Grey X3

As an Asian, I want to thank you for teaching me about my taste.

I was really fearing the LCI would make me regret my purchase, but thank you BMW for putting out the meh-est update I’ve seen. 🙏
