X3M40 diff bolt issue

Does anyone know the P/N of this bolt for our cars (the M40i, not X3M)?

Is it 33326775040?

I'm kinda thinking of just replacing it as a fatigue measure.

So I just wanted to touch base because my driveshaft broke awhile back and I upgraded to a carbon driveshaft which was recommended from Joe who I’m sure many people have heard of.

I never noticed anything wrong with bushings at the time of installation or the bolt for that matter. But fast forward 6 months and the two front mounts are broken, rear main bolt is broken as well. Took over two weeks to receive front bushings from Germany and I’m currently waiting to see if the VTT inserts work for fronts because I contacted VTT and they said we’re sure if they would fit and they would have to research it. I also asked if I could help expedite that process and try and they said I could purchase them and try it but would be a restocking fee if I returned them.

I also want to get the Einhorn for the rear but since the X3M diff bushings and M40 bushings are different parts numbers I am not sure it will fit

I guess I’m waiting to see what anyone else finds out.

I haven't launched my x3 since the replacement...just been rolling into it to play it safe. Kinda frustrating tbh..but better the driveshaft than the transmission.

Yes x3m bushing will fix as they share the same subframe most BMWs share the same subframe aswell

We are aware solid bushings causes vibrations and unwanted sounds from testing. We also offer end bushing for extra piece of mind at only £59 extra plus bolt collar kit £199 = £259.

The metal insert does not fit good on our bushing and it is loose all around it. So vtt does not work unfortunately.

I just found that out tonight myself. Should have waited for you to report back lol. I guess it will work on f97 then?

Got the rear lower and mid installed and it’s pretty nice! Definitely stiffens up the ride in a good way!

Correct only x3m/x4m fitment for VTT diff kit.

I would assume that the bushing diameter is the same from M40i to M. We could replace ours with the factory M bushing and then add the vargas kit if we wanted.
I thought I read someone else had installed the solid full bushing replacement from the M to the M40i and it fit. Which is why I expect that outer diameter of the bushings are the same.
