That's pretty obnoxious. I still don't get it...has anyone had a real explanation? I think if the 2019 comes with the wheel there should be a big class action suit to get BMWNA to retrofit all the 2018 models. I mean, even just M sport packages way back get the wheel...super annoying.

Must be some legal certification issue with airbags or something, not being accepted on time for MY2018 710 M-sport wheel, only in NA .. ;-)

This is my first BMW with an "M" in the model name but the first of the last 4 that hasn't had an M steering wheel. I've gotten it with all the ones I had an M package on.

Not that this wheel is so terrible, because I think it's not bad... but I would have preferred the M wheel as it's what I'm used to and it's a damn good wheel.

Congratulations OP. Please post pictures. I was trying to decide between the black interior and cognac but opted for the black in the end. Love to see what I am missing out on.

One piece of advice, apply a good coat of wax or have paint protection applied as Carbon Black looks great when clean but shows every water mark or streak. It is easily messed up with swirl marks if you are not careful and diligent in maintaining the paint.

Wat. M Sport steering wheel, silver start/HVAC/radio buttons, and Display Key. Does BMW not think US customers care or will spot the differences? Punishment for tariffs? Can this go to the front page: "Mexico X3s better than US/Canada even though made in US and market larger in US/Canada so like wtf are you doing BMW"
