Pics of my new Carbon Black M-sport X3 with chestnut leather
received my Carbon Black/chestnut M-Sport X3 a few weeks ago. got it detailed and testing out the car with some pics.
absolutely love the exterior and interior colors. carbon black looks amazing in the sun and it's the only M-specific color available on the X3. M-sport package is a fantastic value and sport settings clearly stiffen and tighten the suspension. if you're on the fence about M-sport, i highly recommend it! here's lots of gratuitous ///M shots |

thanks! absolutely love the carbon black. the blue notes in the sun is stunning. can't wait to get black grills and then hopefully gunmetal ZCP replicas!
the handling is great for this time of vehicle. better than my B8 A4 avant with it's lower center of gravity and lighter weight. i have the benefit of great test roads right in my backyard. gotta love portland backroads! i used one of my go to lenses, the canon 35 1.4L. most times i'm shooting my leica, but the canon 35 really rivals my summicron wide open. |

Beautiful! Is your rim chipped in the close-up pic? It looks like it is above and below the M logo. If you just picked it up, you may want to point that out to the dealer and make them repair it as it probably happened during transport.

By any chance, did you get your production video? I'll get a very similar car (same specs except beige-tan interior) in 4 weeks but in Canada we can't get access to these video...

I just purchased a brand new Nikon D700 (the last one left in the city because of the earthquake in Japan). I have a 50 f/1.4, a 35 f/2, a 28 f/2.8, and a 180 f/2.8. I couldn't be happier, but at the same time I envy your Leica. One day I'll buy a rangefinder.
