[QUOTE=IXVXI;23970255][QUOTE=BobsM3Coupe;23969720]Good to hear.
I finally received the Veepeak obd reader and unlocked the coding on my S9+. For some reason, I can't get the phone to see the reader. It says it's paired, but doesn't show it's actually connected. The blue light is on for the reader. Engine is off. I pressed the start button 3 times quickly. What am I missing? Last edited by BobsM3Coupe; 01-09-2019 at 06:28 PM.. |

Question re # of code changes made in a single shot...do you guys make multiple changes at once, then "code"? Or do you make 1 change, code, then another change etc?
Finally, after you code a change it obviously creates some sort of restore point. If I make a 2nd code change, does the 1st code change save, get over written with the 2nd code change and so on? Hope that makes sense...

Tried coding my X4 today for in motion video and closing the tailgate with the remote. Have the OBDlink adapter and latest Bimmercode app for Android. Coding said it took but I see no changes and nothing works that I coded. Any ideas? I reset the car and waited about 30 minutes and still no changes...

Duh...Don't know how I missed it, but found the instructions on how to copy over to the PC. They're built-in to the app within the FAQ section...(Android & iOS instructions)

I was able to successfully have the ASS default to the last chosen setting (off), and was able to reduce the loud “beep” confirming locking and unlocking car. Is there a way to turn off the red LED that blinks when the alarm system is activated? Is there a way to lock without turning on the anti-theft alarm?

If you've already got the bimmercode app, check the settings within the app. From there, there's a link of everything that can be coded for the G01

One of the simplest and most liked coding features I've used on all my BMWs is: "auto windows-up, even with the doors open." By default BMW stops the window once you open the door and you have to long-click the darn switch again. Can Bimmercode do this? And I've been trying to figure out what the "purchase of $26.99" is for. Does it give me that many more features? I only have 1 BMW so not planning to code several cars.
