Why did you have a service at 4k? I thought mine came up early at 13k!

I'll watch for you around the area! That blue M3 shouldn't be too hard to spot... I'm about 30 minutes SE from you.

I agree with you, but that just might be because I'm used to seeing it that way now. Regardless, it's kind of fun to have something that's different, even if I'm the only one who knows about it.

One quick question to the group - is there a sticker somewhere that shows the build date of your vehicle? If so, where exactly is it located?

I'm used to seeing it on the base of the B pillar on the driver's forward side down underneath the door latch, but it's not there. I'm not sure if that doesn't exist with these cars, or I'm just looking in the wrong place.

If it exists, can you tell me where and shoot a picture of the spot on your car?

👍🏻 sounds good. I made a couple of changes already but I haven't seen one other M3 in that color.

It's one year old. I should use it more often, but don't.
I bet I'm the only one on the forum that has less then 4k miles on their one year old X3.

You lost ) I put 2,700 miles first year on my 2015 X6. Bought a motorcycle the same day as a car and put 7,200 on it first year.

It was wonderful delivery experience. Two toys at the same day !

X6 doesn't qualify.

But that's my problem, I enjoy riding the m/c year round way more than driving the M40i.

I picked it up from the Factory in South Carolina and drove it home with my son back to Utah (2700 mile trip), then have been enjoying it quite a bit, looking for excuses to drive.

I normally put about 12K/year on a car, sometimes less, this was just a fun road trip to take to spend time with my 14 year old.

Sorry man it was just a (bad) joke!

Damn 2700 miles trip! I just checked and with that sort of distance I could drive to Syria!

It was a blast. I highly recommend the PDC delivery experience - and the road trip home was an amazing experience (I've done that with a couple of cars I've purchased)

Thanks ) I did it this year. Though my trip home was nothing compared to yours. SC to VA is not that long.

Btw, I also took my 15 yo son with me. He enjoyed it more than I. Especially those hot laps )

As for what I did to mine today, installed this glasses case to replace the handle on the driver's side. Granted, it’s more useful than the grab handle, but I wouldn’t really recommend it. It’s a bit too recessed and it only holds very thin sunglasses. Mine are slightly bulky and don’t fit well. I am keeping my regular glasses there, which I wear when I drive at night.

Put in the LED projectors and a set of the rear sun shades. Thanks Bmock17!

On an entirely different note, this is the first vehicle I have ever regretted not doing a clear bra on the front. So many little chips in the bumper.

Very cool. Glad you got everything ok! Those lights are a bit of a PITA to get in but they look great once installed.
