Either spoiler to me looks ridiculous. Looks like something that belongs on a sabaru.
The M spoiler is very clean and has a bit more flaring than the M40i. This car has quite a hump back and the X3M spoiler is clean IMO.

I agree the ACS spoiler is not a good look, it's very A45 AMG or Focus RS

The M40i does need a more aggressive spoiler though as the stock one is the same as the entry level X3 20i! My wife's Nissan Qashqai spoiler is more aggressive!

I wasn't bashing it btw, just not my cup of tea, it's mainly this rear view of it I don't like because it's narrower than the original spoiler:

Just installed the Match Up7BMW DSP
Haven't done any tuning yet. Just got it installed and using SUV Profile.

What I don't get is, it is so much smaller then the factory amp. Look at the factory amp closely, it is just very simple board inside, with a big metal casing and heat sink.

Here is the picture after install

This is my 1st BMW so pardon my lack of knowledge but I assume that I could source the X3M rear spoiler, have it painted and swap it with my M40i stock spoiler, correct? I really like the subtle flaring it provides. I need to look at that bmw parts site. Anyone recall the link?

Yes you could do that, but a large M spoiler is going to be a lot of coin!

I expect that anything I do with this vehicle is a pretty penny

I'll go out on a limb and guess that the parts would be between $1k - $1500. Painting is $500. Removal and swap by someone better than I (priceless) lol.

BTW this is the spoiler I prefer. Understated.

Remap to stage 1 93 octane with bootmod3. Feels a little faster and eager. Burbles and pops still a little subdued on a 2019 car but it’s definitely there. Can customise the exhaust sounds with the map but left it at its default for now.

Really want to find a rolling road to see what the output really is. Claim is 20% increase.

the shop install it for me, only took him 30min. so.i assume is very easy.

I can do it myself, but they said they just plug it in for me because is so easy, so I don't have to do it myself

Are these prices fake, for knockoff versions?

https://www.ac-schnitzer.de/en/bmw/x...m-technik.html

https://www.gmpperformance.com/produ...r-roof-spoiler

https://www.gmpperformance.com/produ...front-spoiler/

Mock order shows shipping is ~$200 (if not picked up at local store), and $0 tax.

Obviously parts need to be painted, so add that to the total cost.

Never heard of that site before so it could be legit. At $200 shipping that pretty much brings you up to what other places are charging or at least very close. From the quotes I've gotten regarding painting as well for the splitters it's around another $200 or so. All in, I still don't think their parts are worth the cost.

As a side note, the instructions for the ACS splitters just have them being glued on so install is straight forward but a pain as you'll be having to secure them on there for several hours as the glue dries. Probably could do 3M tape instead of the glue though.

Found them online previously. I'll see if I can locate them again and post it here.

I attached the PDFs. May need to view it on the website instead of the app as I don't see them attached when viewing from the app. Strange...
