Custom Exhaust on F25 N20.
My previous vehicle was a 2014 F31.
I added the Active AutoWerke's Exhaust and loved the sound. Yep....I know 4 cycl….but it sounded really good in Eco and Sport+. I have a 2016 F25 now with with N20. I really want to add the same exhaust to my X3. I realize there will need to be custom exhaust work to potentially make it fit. Anyone done something similar??? Input would be greatly appreciated. And ………….NO I don't want to go quad exhaust...ie Supersprint.

I am currently working with a company called Valvetronic. They just started doing R&D for the X3 (For n55 but I am sure would be similar to n20). Basically the muffler can either have the valves closed to be quieter than stock or open the valves and the car would be straight piped!

So....it looks like either Remus or Supersprint quad exhaust.
Supersprint does make an exhaust that is one sided with dual outlets....but.....$1550...for an axleback…...exhaust.  I've emailed Active Autowerkes if their axleback for the F30 N20 can have some minor custom work to fit? I had that one my previous F31 and thought it sounded great.

I was thinking of the Borla Pro XS earlier for the N20.
3in in 2.5 dual out 24in length oval. Since I have Borla in my E30 M3, might work. The one in the M3 is made for it. Then I saw This for the N20... Last edited by ArpeeB; 02-25-2019 at 10:08 PM.. |
