Installed S15A-24-03-547_4.0.1 in my 24 X4M using licensed ISTA and an OEM ICOM.

I have no good reason for doing this other than my obsession with software updates and hyper focus on seeing a project through from start to finish.

Overall much easier than I thought it would be. Took about 45 minutes including the power supply setup and initial ISTA tests / calculation.

I also wanted to point out that I have been playing with official ISTA since ~February of this year and it has not once flagged my car for tuning. It does run the tuning detection tests, but always passes. This is with a Dahler module set to Race almost every time I am out for roughly 12k miles.

Those were my 2nd option after finding these. Similar design but I preferred the carbon look to match. If I was looking for plain black I would have went for those.

The Automotive Passion units make the hand cut TLG ones look like a Fischer Price kids toy from the late 80's in comparison. Stay loyal all you want, but keep in mind, your X3 M deserves better... !

😂

Totally agree that the shape/cuts of the TLG don’t look quite as clean.

Do you have the part number you used? I think I found it but it said “not for vehicles with M aero”

Don’t worry, they fit the X4M 100%.

Came in original BMW packaging. Think it may now be thrown out.
I purchased them from EBay £39.99 with a discount code.
Link below now £47.99

The screws supplied are of no use. However I used new trim clips which fitted well. And some additional 3M tape behind to be sure.
The fit is excellent.

My car is on Eibach pro springs kit with 10mm spacers Allround. I was noticing a slight road rash since the spacers hence I fitted these guards.
Polished out the road rash and looks like these guards will do the job.

I use to have those same OEM unit too & even had IND paint them to match my body color. Just be careful of the backside though. At least put some tape on the back if you can because they will dig into & scuff the clear coat very quickly. That soft rubber / plastic composite is compliant, but you will see wear marks on the fender well arches if the back side of the mud flaps don't have some protection on them. If you car has PPF on those high impact areas, then you'll be all set.

Thanks for the advice.
I will push some 3M double sided behind the edges of each, then carefully trim it neat. 👍

Nice - I’m liking the meatier sidewall look. I might start looking for 19” for my LCI x3m 🤔

Looks great, and total wt now the lowest on our list in the stickies section (using your rounded wt for the wheels). Here's how your entry appears there (had to guess on your tire series - let me know if incorrect and I'll edit). And if ORT can let you know the exact wheel wts I'll correct those as well.

diirk : Total F97/98 for ORT Motorsport BS-10F in 'Brushed HyperBlack' (20x9.5 ET19, 20x10.5 ET33)/Continental ExtremeContact DWS06+ (275/40 R20, 315/35 R20) - 206 lbs https://x3.xbimmers.com/forums/showp...postcount=3803 and continentaltire.com/tires/extremecontact-dws06-plus/specs for the tire wts {Ft wheel/tire: 49.7 lbs, Rear wheel/tire: 53.2 lbs} {Separate wts - Ft wheel: 21 lbs, Ft tire: 28.7 lbs, Rear wheel 21 lbs, Rear Tire: 32.2 lbs}
