X3M at the end of PCP, Next car choice

Well, My X3M is coming to the end of its PCP in October, so I decided to review my options.

The car has only done 9k miles after 30 months of ownership, so one option was to extend the PCP by another 2 years, which was a compelling argument.

But the dealer had a G81 M3 Touring in the showroom, which looked fantastic—had to convince the wife though, as she loves the X3M.

So got her to spec the G81, She chose Frozen Dark Grey Metallic individual colour, with full orange leather interior. Carbon exterior, Technology Plus, and comfort packs. Went with the normal seats, as it's going to be our daily driver.

However, the order has been delayed on the release of the M3 LCI probably around July, so should be in time when the X3M is due to be returned.

Will be long wait.

That sounds great. If I had the option for a G81, I would walk into the dealer today. We got screwed in NA.

That's a tough choice. It's too bad you can't test drive a G81 first. Since you only put 9K on the X3 M in 30 months you obviously don't drive a lot. So it might be safe bet to simply keep it a touch longer. Just in case the new gen X3 M doesn't suite your fancy. The G81 is probably the best of both worlds though. And it looks the best too. Sorry, I'm probably not helping here.

My same thoughts really. THe deposit isn't yet a commitment, so still time to change my mind.

Having seen the price changes on the M4 LCI, it might still be too expensive anyway.
