bye to the brand I admired a lot
Hi All
Driving BMWs, testing pretty much all I could models, attending all BMW driving events, visited factories and museums but my journey has come to end. I even contacted with Chris Bangle (yes he wrote me back multiple times) about his designs, how BMW lost its way and traded in it's soul to sell more but eventually end up being a generic brand Industry is heading to all electric + autonomous cars as BMW's information systems - so called iDrive - is still not working properly. THey are very far behind... I did not switch to Tesla, any European brand or Lexus by the way... |

From Boston. Probably a Saab or Subaru! "Industry is heading to all electric"....really?? Depends on who is in office next January and willing to shell out millions to subsidize an unpopular product!

I’m new here, and don’t know shit, but did you even own a BMW? Listen, I think the whole car industry has lost its way with a wayyy over reliance on technology to the point of isolating the driver from the car, and attempting to out think the driver, but I’m not sure I understand what you are trying to accomplish with this thread, or even what your complaints are. I’m currently replacing a BMW with another BMW because I tried most of the competitors and nothing really drove as well. To each his own. Cheers.

I’m not thrilled with the new stuff either, but the entire auto industry is just salmon swimming together up the stream to die. Comparatively I still think BMW is still right where it was in relation to the other brands.

Wow! So many catfish jumped here
Would you be driving your car or car drives you everywhere in the future ? If bmw drivers are rich , they would pay for the service to get anywhere , only poor people have to drive Electric cars : more reliable, less parts to manufacture, faster and cost less to own I didn’t switch to electric car , this is just my opinion I switched to minivan as my family grows , I need a practical car . Some of you smart people would say “dude , there’s 2 Series if you live in Europe. Well 2 series is not a minivan, already checked when I was in Europe , terrible car |

I pooped today on my toilet, tested pretty much all I could, I attended ALL the toilet paper trade shows, visited factories and YES a toilet paper museum but my journey of eating corn has come to an end. I even contacted with Rick (Yes he even helped me pick the toilet paper multiple times) about single ply or quilted designs, how Scotts lost its way with thin ply and traded their soul to sell you less paper for a monumentous everyday task to sell more but eventually end up being a generic brand like walmart. I did not switch to grape juice as I did not like seeing my poop turning a different color. Lets be honest here as your post read the same way, Its one thing if you had contributed to this forum but it seemed your were just passing through as from your rep and post count shows since joining in 2015. I degress and wish you the best of luck on your next adventure. Last edited by Burr001; Yesterday at 03:52 AM.. |

when I leave this forum, soon, I will write my exit in a historically themed parable. " i wanna tell you all a story bout a harper valley widowed wife, who had a teenage daughter who attended harper valley senior high...."
but seriously you are leaving a forum, this is not a direct line to BMW. know your audience. |
