esys coding help

Hi guys, is there a dedicated section for esys coding for the g01 x3? I know bimmercode has made coding easier, but i just perfer to use esys. Is there a section or github where I can see all confirmed coding parameters?

thank you

If you have a new 2020 X3 with ID7 and LiveCockpit Pro, you will find a lot CANNOT be done. I've not found anything that cannot be done with BimmerCode app by using E-Sys. There is a lot I have done in the past, but the ECU's seem not to be very changeable. The HU-MGU headunit is really a closed book from what I can tell so far.

I really just want to increase blinker to 5 times and have the easy access function. I was able to code the blinker to 5 times on a 2020 G20 with BimmerCode, but no luck on my 2020 G01. My previous 2017 f32 also had the easy entry function that I coded, I want to have that on my g01 as well.

On the 2020 G01 you can enable the 5 blinks option in the iDrive menu by coding it... but then it still doesn't work. Haven't read about anyone that's gotten it working.

I'm on the same boat. I got the 5 blink option coded in idrive-7, however the selction revers back to 3. I talked to Bimmercode support and they confirmed it can't be done. no reason why.

It has to be there, we just need to figure out where the associated setting is inside the BDC module. I will keep digging.
