It's likely the suspension tuning will be different on an M vehicle, so the ride and handling may be substantially different, even if an aggressively tuned non-M vehicle is able to accelerate as quickly as a factory M version. Differences in handling may (or may not) be material in driving on the road as well as on the track, although it's unlikely any of the M version's design attributes reflect an expectation by the factory that this type of vehicle will be tracked, rather than be operated on public roads.
Track? You mean dirt track?
I'm confused. I thought SUVs where for off roading.

It's been 3 months since the official "camo" reveal so when is the real unveiling?

If they offer this with a ventilated sport seat similar to my X5M, the X3M will likely be its replacement in a year. Don't really need the size of the current X5M and the new upcoming X5M will even be bigger.

As we await launch details, it would be great to see only footage of the reveal edition rather than just a few seconds of that edited into the older footage. From the brief seconds it is shown in the clip (the 1:59-2:20 segment)- it's looking good. Ready to place our order.

Yeah, I hope to get around to that one - as I don't have any Graphic Design background and just use a little free-ware program it takes me a fair amount of time (kind of like a typist who just hunts and pecks as they've never learned how to type), but I will.

I still feel the design is lacking something aesthetically, but after widening the tires a bit it feels more balanced now. I'm not skilled enough to widen the flares as some have suggested, but hopefully the wider tires give an idea.

Here they are...

If BMW releases the X3M and X4M with CFRP roof, 500-525HP, and performance and handling per M's Heritage, these two models have a really good chance of being incredibly successful in this ultra-competitive field.

I like the X4 over the X3, I am getting used to it's big butt. Being a full on M helps
