Dashcam battery charging fuse tap

Anyone using battery with their dashcam such as the Cellink?

Which fuse are you tapping?
Are you tapping a fuse that switches off 6 minutes after ignition is off? Or have you found a fuse that switches off immediately after ignition is off?

I noticed there are f221 f222 and f223 that switches off immediately after ignition is off, but they are empty and am not sure if those are safe to tap as well as their ratings..

Create your own circuit by using an empty fuse slot. Look up the wiring diagram for that fuse and see if it's power at all times or switched power. That is what I did for my dash cam and radar detector.

2017 X3 Spare Fuse

I just installed a Dashcam in my 2017 X3 (F25) and would like to tap into the fusebox for power but I don't know which open (spare) fuse slot will power it when the ignition is on?

I did a complete install of a BlackVue 900s w/ the Blackvue B-124X Power Magic Ultra Battery Pack. I used fuse slot 74 for accessory power thanks to guidance provided by freshxdough. Install went perfectly. Not sure what dashcam you're using but this may help you as well. Fuse 74 is in the passenger side footwell fuse box of my 2019 G01 M40i.
