Anyone powder coated 699m wheels?

Does anyone have pictures of painted 699m wheels? I’m looking at potentially having them powder coated black, but wanted to see how they look before I pull the trigger. I have the x3 m sport package in a dark graphite. Thanks!

I did it to the 718M wheels and love it. I couldn't find any pictures of the 699M wheels in black but saw other dark graphite cars with black rims and thought the color combo looked good.

Ah the 718m wheels look amazing. I saw a few members post them done in black and they look great.

I'm just worried with the angles of the 699m wheel if it will look strange in a uniform color rather than two tone

The 718m look so good painted/coated because the one uniform colour removes their "busy" look. With 699m the non-painted areas is what makes them attractive. Painted they'd look too chunky is my guess. However it's all in the eye of the beholder.

I'm leaning in the same direction as your thoughts - the 699m look too chunky/bulky in one color. For now I will wait until I see another member have them painted before I decide on mine now time to continue with other minor cosmetic mods!

I had mine done before delivery. Not everyone's taste, but i think they came out well with the red.

Those look really nice especially with the paint color. Do you have to have a side profile of yours like the one I posted? It'll make it easier for me to compare

Thanks!

Did you pull the trigger yet? I'm thinking about doing the same thing.

I think they look great, but I never would have recognized them as 699m's had you not told me!
