G02 -- First foam cannon car wash and finished with...

Turtle Wax Hybrid Ceramic Spray Coating

Seems good so far. Smells good, slick finish. In lieu of a full ceramic, this could be a great alternative. Still need to do the wheels today.

I used the same thing on our X3. Like it so much, it is now on my truck and our Z4. Holding up very well and sure is easy to apply.

Gave it a bath in the 105" Palm Springs heat as the sun set. Probably my most comfortable car washing experience--getting soaked felt good. First time using a foam gun. The results were great, although I wasn't able to generate quite as much foam as I've seen others on this forum do.

Which foam gun did you get? I have the BOSS foam cannon from Griots and my first go at it produced rather lackluster results since it was my first time using it and a power washer to wash a vehicle so I was getting used to it all. After some tweaking of settings on the foam cannon I now get all kinds of suds and foam and it coats the X3 perfectly.

We're down here mostly for the summer so I picked up a chemical guys kit from the zon. So I have a chemical guys torq blaster foam gun that hooks up to the garden hose! I was able to get the car quite clean (it does have ceramic pro on it), so I'm not particularly concerned.

I have the chemical guys torq professional foam cannon and it's foam is great! I can do two cars with one full cannon. But it hooks up to a pressure washer wand, so that might make some difference as well, not sure.

Installed the IND Black Boomerangs. They were not difficult to remove. I found the install alignment to be a PIA. This is another awesome part from IND!

Installed M-style deadpedal and pedalcovers in my X-Line today. Much nicer than just the plain black plastic and rubber.

Got the parts from ebay as BMW is not offering just the covers as a retrofit:
