x3 2020 trunk fuse box

Does anyone have a link to the fuse box diagram for the trunk fusebox?

I opened it up and didnt see any diagram on the x3's trunk fuse box..

Need to hook up dashcam battery to the trunk..

Ok I found it..

Looking at other threads, it seems like people are using F46/F47 for ACC..

On my X3, the 12V are always on, so does that mean F46/F47 are constant and not acc?

I can't check the actuals amps as my kit hasn't arrived yet.

You need to look at it with a voltmeter and see if the 12v drops out once the vehicle goes to sleep. That will tell you which fuses are switched power. The circuits on our car don't switch off immediately when the engine is turned off like older cars. Car may stay awake for 6-12 minutes or so.

Turn off the car, hold the volume power button until the shutdown sequence is seen on the displays. Wait 5-10 minutes or until the start stop button light goes out and the car should be asleep. Fuses that are now 0v are switched power and will best to use for the dashcam.

The engine hasn't been on for 12hours.

I noticed the 12v turned on after unlocking the car, it was turned off after around 10 mins after closing the door and locking the car.

I guess thats ok? The battery will be milked by the external batter for another 10 minutes..

12v doesn't seem to go to sleep with doors opened and doors locked.

Check out my post and the link in it https://x3.xbimmers.com/forums/showp...02&postcount=1. I include the fuse box diagrams and recommended fuse locations to tap for a dashcam install.

I think you will find it easier to tap the interior cabin fuse box as noted in my write-up, rather than the rear side fuse box.

I added 3 circuits to the back of my front fuse box. 1 power at all times and 2 switched power. Latch the doors and double lock the car and see which fuses drop from 12v to 0v. Usually the fuse blocks will be separated by constant power, switched power. For example in this photo I added 2 on one strip that are switched and 1 on the other strip that is constant power.

Ok, this is problematic as the ACC is not turned off when ignition is off, but rather it turns off 6 mins later.

My acc is hooked up to Cellink NEO and the 6 mins is draining the car battery... I just got a low voltage warning from the Cellink..

How to make acc turn off completely immediately after ignition is off.?

So after looking at the distribution diagram, it seems there are no fuse slots that turns off immediately after ignition is off is suitable for fuse tapping.. none of the existing ones are over 10a.

K15 slots

Anyone have issue charging their battery with the 6 minutes off 12v fuses?
