Current Incentives?
Anyone know what incentives are stackable that are effectively currently?
Public incentives: 1.9% APR or $2000 APR credit. I have no idea what APR credit is. Is that just if you borrow through BMW Financial you get a $2000 statement credit? $1500 loyalty credit $X?? - I thought last month I saw there was an X3 specific incentive but I forgot the amount ($1500-3000?). Does anyone know if this one expired? Custom incentives I'm eligible for: BMW Corporate Group - $2000 off if not financed through BMW, $500 if financed through BMW $500 off for corporate fleet again - I don't think this is the same $500 for the above because it's listed separately. I'm trying to figure out what kind of number we're working with before tax/fees. The options I want will push the MSRP to $52-55K. As far as negotiation goes, I believe the best approach is to negotiate with the dealer including all public incentives. Then before finalizing the deal I can bring up the corporate group fleet incentive. These incentives shouldn't impact dealer's bottom line so they shouldn't reject it (and if they do I can find another dealer). |

Global Incentives
I believe any of those are stackable. Unfortunately, it looks like the APR (cash back) incentive expired at the end of February. The current global incentives for the X3 no longer show the APR credit. I had a deal worked out, which include the APR credit, and today the price went up because the incentive expired yesterday and BMW does not allow the APR credit to be locked in ... you have to make the actual purchase (not just have an agreed upon price) before the APR incentive expires.

It's like employee price program (EPP). If you work for a large US company you probably have it. It requires your HR to give you a filled out form that has your company info, then you can take it to the dealer and apply it.

You should double check. I found a list of companies on some dealer's website but it didn't list mine, but I went to my company's benefit site and they had the form filled out so it's definitely valid. You can always ask a dealer too.
The corporate discount is $2000 and that's supposedly on top of all the other incentives so it really sweetens the deal... |
