thanks. I don't want to be too Dark.
so I am thinking of 30 front and 70 back with Llumar ceramic to control heat.
but seem Llumar ceramic only have 5% to 50%. No 70% options.

just worry 50% on top of factory tint with become very dark

Spitfire-'s tint looks perfect and that's what I want. I have a feeling I just wasted $150.

Overall my tint is quite a bit darker, but my fronts are a tad lighter like yours. It just seems to be more noticeable on your paint color. Still looks good though. Pic of mine for reference...

I'm super pissed right now. Just realized my tinter didn't put the door panels backed on properly. Since I don't drive it much I didn't notice. I only noticed just now getting out of the car that the gap between the panel and the speaker above the panel was slight larger and looked a bit strange to me. So upon further inspection I could see the panel wasn't hung on the door properly. The clips that keep it in place were never put over the railing that keeps the panel flush against the seal. Both front doors were like that. I just spent the last half an hour fixing that. I had to use two flathead screwdrivers and some rags to protect the piano black outside door trim (still scraped a tiny bit) to pry the clips in place. I'm so damn annoyed. I'm going to call them tomorrow to bitch them out about it.

Spoke to Joseph today, seem to be nice guy. I now booked for tint job next wed.

I think you done 20 Front, and 70 all around including sunroof, right?

How is the front and rear windows match up in this config? It seem match up nicely from the picture, but not sure how it look in real life. Do the match closely?

Any display fade issue?

I am thinking of 20 front, 70 for rear window and tailgate. may be do 50 for sunroof. As Joseph mention 70 seem like clear. Is that correct?

Yes, I did 20% front and 70% rear/tailgate/sunroof

In real life it matches closely IMO. Here's a front angle shot for comparison

I've had no issues with the display fading.

70% is good enough for me on the sunroof as I just wanted block out some sun during the summer if my car's parked outside all day.

I'm just not real happy with the color or the shade. Wish I would have went darker to at least match the rears (front is 26%, rear was measured at 22%). I'm mostly dissatisfied with the color, as I feel it is more silver looking than black like the rears. I would like the fronts to completely match the rears. It will continue to bother me until I decide to get it done again....that's why I said I wasted $150.

I've had no issues with the display fading.

70% is good enough for me on the sunroof as I just wanted block out some sun during the summer if my car's parked outside all day.
I just done the exact same tint, 20 for front windows and 70 all around.
It look really nice.

Thanks for the suggestion.

BTW, saw you have after market wheels, that's your winter setup? What size/model is that?

I seem to have issue finding 18" wheels that fit the M40i for winter use.
I know we just Spring right , just start researching.
