I think both X3M and X4M will sell exceptionally well. These cars offer practically everything in a true M trim.
My future BMW shopping list just got more complicated. |

The only thing I can tell from the grainy blurry cell phone video that appears to be slightly different is the wheels/rims. They look more classic M, which is a great thing! I hope that's the case.

Pretty much maxed out its $88k I think X3M with Comp (500hp?) will be mid $80s as well. Hopefully they don't hit $90k I have always thought the spread was about $15,000 from a loaded 3 series (like M340i) to the M3. Now that may be blurred a bit with the new M versions because they have more power and M features than before. Loaded X3 M40i is $67,000 (without m sport diff). So I would think X3M with similar options would be $82,000. Add Comp package and maybe around $86,000 |

IMHO, for I6 twin-turbos for M cars, BMW concerns would be, HP, emission, longevity then sound.

I'm looking forward to this.
I wouldn't mind replacing my F80 for this as a daily...

So in England its $86,120 by comparison the R Dynamic SE with the P300 engine is $56,600 In the US the same model is $58,700 using that simple calculation the SVAutobiography will be about $89,315 ($9,000 more than the F Pace SVR) comes standard with more than the F Pace though, pretty loaded its $90,000 UK, ($1200 more gets you a 1600 watt stereo system), so that would be $93,300 in the US meaning its price is really close to the F Pace if that is correct, gotta say the two tone red/black interior option looks pretty awesome (when is BMW going to offer this in the M versions, seems like its always an end of production option only). limited edition and only made for 1 year? From Car and Driver "The Velar SVAutobiography Dynamic Edition will only be available for one model year—and in limited numbers—and pricing has yet to be announced. We expect the SVA to land somewhere between the $80,985 Jaguar F-Pace SVR and the $114,595 Range Rover Sport SVR; with the Velar P380 R-Dynamic HSE already starting at $75,025, we bet the Velar SVA will be on the higher end of that spectrum. A Land Rover spokesperson told C/D that there are no plans for a super-sporty SVR version of the Velar, so if you want your Velar with V-8 power, get your order in now." l really hope they'll offer some nice silver wheels as well. Black wheels never make a car better looking IMHO (I know there are many fans here though, but I hate the look).

Black rims are used on prototypes as well, but have you looked more carefully at the shapes of the rims? Look on this zoom, those shapes would have no sense if the rims have only of one colour. The rims of the M5 and it's apparents shapes, may give us the idea that it will get a 2 colours rims as well. |

That's quite possible. Although I hope they'll offer full silver wheels. Those designs with only the outside parts in silver and inner parts in black make the wheels look "flat" and 2-dimensional.

Don't follow Velar news as it's by far one of the ugliest vehicles in their lineup. Looks great on TV but every time I see it in real life I want to

Won’t be long until we have all the details. I’ll wait until later in the year or next year before I start seriously looking at this car, as BMW will be offering deals by then.

I personally do NOT like the extremely hard to clean metallic silver painted with soft clear-coat rims, they look cheap. And what BMW is doing now regarding the black wheels that are using is a shiny Glossy finish which looks absolutely super cheap, like someone just took a can of spray paint to them. They have to be Black Satin Powder Coated. For me I like my wheels Black, but in silver they need to be polished. A nice dark Gunmetal works.
