That is a good point. Still adds a bit of an increase in the cost. I'd also probably want to have it painted.

If you want it painted then I believe IND Distribution offers that service.

The is where I bought from, it does heat up the phone but so does most of the OEM car wireless charger in my opinion. I found it perform just like others so no surprise there.
Oh, and is it powered by the USB A that is in that space? Tx

Oh snap, forgot about the screen protector. Have that too. I didn’t even remove the plastic until that arrived.

The custom liner was about Ł150 after discount, and it’s made by https://www.bootliners-uk.com/bl/bmw...iAAEgIaAPD_BwE
I bought the same one 3 years ago, shipped to the US with no problem, and still holding up great.

It’s powered from the cigarette lighter as USB A output isn’t high enough. The USB A is free to use.

It’s not designed to be removable as it uses adhesive pads to secure.

Don’t you have a 12v socket in the trunk ?

It’s the same 12v socket as the lighter. More politically correct call them 12v sockets nowadays lol.

Oh? Wonder why I never noticed. It would actually be more convenient to plug it in there, as that's where the pump lives.

Ha, as a former smoker — I approve of this message)))

I remember cars having ashtrays in all the doors, as well as one in the rear of the center console for back seat passengers.
