Ultra racing front lower 2 pt for X3 G01

Hello everyone !

I finally got the rear lower 2pt and also the mid 4 pt bars from Ultra racing installed, both works great !

Anyone tried installing the front lower 2pt on the X3 G01 ? I know Alecsracing states it for the X4 G02.

Reviews anyone ?!

It fits, had to shave the collar around the top that inserts into the front carrier to slide in.. it did stiffen the front end.

I need to know which intake manifold you and Paul think is the best bang for the buck?

So far it looks like the EOS or CSF manifold is the best but at the power level you will be at, no need for one unless you want the bling! Just buy a good heat exchanger and you’ll be okay. Are you doing fueling upgrades or staying stock fueling?

I’ll most likely do the project gamma manifold on my car just to make the engine bay look good. Not sure on the data of the manifold though.

And that’s fair I’m still less than a grand in to my car if we don’t count the driveshaft

All my nostrum parts were sponsored

All I’ve paid for is Downpipe-400, springs-300, front grills -50, side vent -50, mirrors -50

I was thinking stock fueling for now..but if I go with an intake I can either go reflex with port injection or I know bm3 is coming out with something similar for additional injection. I was also thinking of scraping gc and maybe go with top mount like from spool. Dunno yet still in the air tbh.

Lol.

I wish I was still only a grand into mine.

Fueling wise, I’d wait for rev 2 if going port injection. Way to many issues with motiv.

As far as turbo I’d stick with the gc and wait for tony to release his big single for the b58. Will be controlled by factory ewg.

Personally not a big fan of spool products. Dm me if you want more info

Thoughts on the Remnant Performance stuff? I was interested in their intake manifold, but also was looking at Project Gamma as well. Unsure of if the Project Gamma would support any aftermarket PI kit.

I talked to Remnant performance about there turbo kit a while back, might end up going that route as I got a good price. As far as the intake manifold I’m not sure haven’t had a customer use one yet. As for the project gamma it comes with the PI rail which is all you need so no need for any other pi kits.

Is there a reason why most other intake manifolds utilize the phenolic spacer setup? I assume this is the cost difference between Project Gamma and the other cast options

The spacer helps with heat transfer between the head and manifold you can order them for around $100 I believe. The price difference is sticky brand, now they do all perform different keep in mind. But CSF can charge more because they have the name to do so. Project gamma on the other hand who is newer to the scene can’t because no one would pay 5k for a manifold from a “no name” brand. Project gamma can also charge lower cost because “CHINA”

Thanks! I’m left wondering why Project Gamma doesn’t just include that spacer if it’s so cheap lol

Would you mind sharing via PM what you were quoted for the Omega turbo kit?

Who know’s to many company’s cheap out in areas they shouldn’t. And I’m talking like a 4 dollar difference between junk that can cause tons of issues and a quality part.

Sorry can’t disclose that price

I’m still deciding between these 3.

1. Vargas GC+
2. Vargas full frame kit when that comes out
3. Omega

Do you feel the ride quaility being noticeably stiffer during daily driving around town with the chassis bracing?

Better cornering and braking are always attractive features but I'm curious how much it would affect the "daily driver" aspect of the car.

The X3/4M sway bars are larger(thicker) than m40i so in theory will push the wheels downward(planted) and the bracing will stiffen the chassis for less body roll/flex. I guess I will let you know how it drives after everything is installed.. I have to assume it will ride harder but handle on rails. My end goal is to remove the slop and get better feedback when driving hard.
