Hi am looking for new spark plugs.

the manufacturer code is 12122455258.
on Pelican web size said his a NGK "High Power" - SILZKGR8E8S.

Looking for NGK plug I got this:

NGK SILZKGR8E8S (96206) LASER IRIDIUM SPARK PLUG / BOUGIE IRIDIUM AU LASER.

I believe is the same spark plug, however the difference on cost between the BMW and the NGK is double.

any one has used the NGK?

Looking in to the spark plugs appears that NGK Laser Iridium Spark Plug - 96206 SILZKGR8E8S discontinue the 12 points , and replace with 6 side plug.

when I try to buy it online , I only found the 6 sides type . is any issue with installation of a 6 sides?

I recently changed my plugs with the NGK SILZKGR8E8S in my B46 . I got them from Rock Auto and they were the 12 point ones . I don’t see a difference in them being 6 or 12 point as far as them being the same performance. Maybe just need a different socket.
