I found my really harsh as well. Good way to explain it. I remember ordering it and the sales guy said are you sure you want this! Of course I do. The first year was fun...but I finally had to let mine go. Just did not make any more sense and I was losing money by the day. I kept mine 18 months. I have Ram Limited Pickup now. I will get back into a BMW at some point....just not sure when.

Download the AUTODOC APP.
The details below are direct to the part you require.
I have used these numerous times and very good service and prices.
They are approx 10% cheaper via their app than website.
For the spacers I used 10mm Bimmec via eBay. No issues whatsoever.

Link below also to the Eibach website which shows a fair saving via AUTODOC

Peddle Box is the answer for the throttle delay. Took mine off the X3 M40d with a view to selling it on not thinking it would work on the Comp but bloody hell... does it

As for the passengers, it's quite anxiety inducing when your driving around friends and your worried that a pothole could quite literally throw one of them out the window.

In all seriousness, I think I'm really questioning whether I can keep this thing for 2+years. Value, Utility, Speed, Looks... These are all great attributes of the car but its so damn harsh. Which leads me to my question , for those of you with an X3M currently how long have you had it. Also for those of who have sold, why did you sell and how long did you own your X3M.

Thanks!
I got rid of mine after 4 months because even the loudest exhaust was too quiet for me. I will agree though that it did have a harsh ride. But if you are ok with it, tell your passengers to deal with it.
