New member here.. appreciate some advice!
I’ve got a 2012 F25 X3. PDCs stopped working and after checking all wiring and sensors it seems the JBE module was at fault (ISTA seemed to agree). So I now have a second hand replacement JBE module. Fitted to the car and it works, but features such as heated seats, auto wipe etc aren’t working. I assume this is because the car the JBE came from didn’t have these. ISTA is also telling me the module isn’t coded to the car. My understanding is that I need to code the new module to the car, which I can do with E-SYS using the process Shawn has written in quite a few posts; Connect => Read FA (VO) => Activate FA (VO) => Read SVT (VCM) => Left-Click on desired FEM_BODY => Click on "Detect CAF for SWE" => Select the CAFD from latest I-Level shown => Select OK => Right-Click on FEM_BODY (the ECU itself not the underlying CAFD) => Select CODE. From what I understand, the VO of the car will have the info needed to code the module but my question is with ‘injecting the CAFD’. As it’s a replacement module the CAFD will be from the old car, so where does the CAFD I need to ‘inject’ actually come from – is this from data on board the car or does it come from within E-SYS (or is this why you need PSdZData?). Basically – when I do this step…. Will the CAFD I need to select already be stored on the car or do I need to pull it from somewhere else and have it on my laptop? Or, as the JBE is from an identical MY car model, can I just code it without injecting a CAFD? Thanks!! Last edited by Matt_BX3; 01-10-2024 at 03:52 AM.. |

Hi Shawn, would it be possible to get a link to Esys for a 2019 G01 please?
Also, any guidance on the best way to enable/code Carplay would be much appreciated. Car does not have Carplay preperation 6CP, but I have fitted a wi-fi aerial. Head unit is running NBTEvo_Y. Thank you. |

Hi,
I am using Tool32 for a Cic Combox retrofit. Im trying to exchange the vin number registered on new headunit by my car vin. I could connect Tool32 to the car by Enet cable. now I am able to load menu Cicr.prg and two other files. when I load them on tool32, I am able to see aif_Lesen and the other one aif_schreiben. in aif_schreiben ther is 9 arguments that I must open them in aif_lesen Tab one by one and make the string but when the text file is opened does not show the code, and instead shows an error job status saying: "ERROR_ECU_SERVICE_NOT_SUPPORTED" I am uploading pictures to make it clear https://ibb.co/6BjNMtP https://ibb.co/02nZCXQ https://ibb.co/mH68S36 please share your ideas |

Hello, i read the forum since last year when i bought my first BMW and i did a lot of mods, thanks to all infos i found here.
Now i'm looking to add SLI and after i added 8TH in VO, i have the 3 lines on the dash and on HUD, so i have to inject the FSC code. Is anyone here who know a good source where i can buy an original FSC code please? Thank you in advance |
