I’m assuming they’re taking into account drive train loss there, so converting their RW figures to FW.
533 stock doesn’t sound like a RW figure though!

I'm happy with my RC I purchased from Ben.

It seems faster, but without a before/after dyno that is entirely subjective.

I simply cannot believe not a single aftermarket tuner hasn't cracked the 2021+ DME yet after almost 1 year.

But, nobody has cracked the C8 either...

I've had the race chip for about a year no issues. Adds a great amount of Hp. Can't speak on the jb4.
Any difference in low end torque or is it all top end?

I dynoed before and after, otherwise stock. Torque increases by about 75wtq from 2900rpm to redline for Racechip. Before 2900, the lines are close but the racechip line is clearly above. Id guesstimate 10-15wtq increase.

There’s another thread going on that the flash tuners are getting close. I still haven’t installed my Racechip I bought. I may sell that to a friend with a G80. I’d prefer the flash

Anyone have experience with Manhart products like their Powerbox?

I searched the forum but didn't see anything come up.

Do you guys know how that thing works?
It looks like it changes the value from the TMAP & MAP sensor, that's pretty much it.
The board 'cpu' is made of super cheap components.

Since the JB4 doesn't know the RPM (optional OBDII connection), I doubt there is map/curve applied to the values.

There must be easier solutions to trick the computer about these values.

If connected to OBDII, it probably does smarter things tho

Check this out, a week old:

Never heard of Speed Buster. Something tells me this is Racechip in different clothing. I’m also skeptical about the power gains without any documentary proof

I put my Racechip in yesterday and took a short drive to make sure we were good to go. I can say 2 things so far:
1) that sensor from under the car is a royal PITA. It takes a lot of patience. Practice and study removing the cam sensor up top and that will help.
2) Acceleration can best be described as violent. Big big difference over stock

Hours. To be fair I also installed drop in air filters and removed the charcoal filters while I had the air intake off. I spent the most time taking the drivers wheel off, and removing the plastic door to get access to sensor “a.” From there you can’t see the sensor. You go by feel. You can kind of see it if you lay under the car and look up but you can’t fiddle with the sensor very easily. That’s why I say practice on sensor “c” by the passenger side. It’s the same shape and has the same locking tab as sensor “a.”

The trick for me was realizing after the locking tab is unlocked (pulled up) there’s still a small nub on the female end and you have to get the male end up and over that nub to take out. Playing with the c sensor is your best guidance. B and C sensors were a breeze.

That said it’s worth it. My brief drive was crazy fun

Oh it works and it's literally one of the most amazing mods you can add especially in combination with RG Sport mid-pipe.

Stock number is from what BMW published.
The gain delta is comparison on dyno testing result with RaceChip map 7 minus BMW published hp.
As you all know, BMW tend to underrated their published hp.
Also, each car will have different baseline, not all will be exactly the same.

Nothing is sketchy, just different data used for baseline.
Hope that answer your question.
I haven't had my car dynoed yet with RC Black GTS and RG/ER Mid-pipe but 'But-dyno' says the car is a bat out of hell.

I'm literally dusting most muscle cars on the free way in 4th and 5th and looking at their faces is even better.

2017 X6M was on the fwy today and it didn't even stand a chance.

Best part is them looking at me hearing the mid-pipe at WOT and thinking WTF is under the hood of that X3M?

Do I have an option to turn on/off RaceChip completely with the app? Hoping to use it once in a while, when I drive by myself, but turn it off while driving with the family.
